The third time we visited Villa Almira. Its a ten out of ten! Very nice villa, clean, great pool, fabulous see sight. very near to Panormo, a lovely small village with all facilities you need (restaurants, supermarkets, beach, harbour). Great again.

Villa Almira was a fabulous location for a family holiday. The villa, gardens and pool are excellent and it is only a short walk into the beautiful village of Panormos with some fantastic tavernas, shops and restaurants. We cannot recommend Villa Alimra highly enough!

I would like to begin my review of Villa Almira by praising the first class service provided by the Agni Travel Team. We received prompt responses to all our queries so a big Thankyou. The Villa location is fantastic, lovely views out to sea and across to hills without being overlooked. Loved the garden and the 5 minute walk to shops, beach and local tavernas. The beach was not overcrowded and I thought the 7 Euro cost for 2x beds and parasol was a fair price. Would recommend a trip to Rethymno if you have time. Would definitely recommend this property and would have no reservations coming here again.

The Villa was wonderfully positioned, it was clean and spacious. The garden and pool area were great and the sea views were fabulous. It was within easy access to the beach and a lovely little village. I would certainly recommend it and would like to return.

We had the most amazing time in this villa! The villa and surroundings are exactly as seen in the photos and even exceeded the high expectations we had before planning our holiday. The property felt very secluded and quiet. The property was also well maintained and clean. The nearest beach, which is very close, is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for long walks, swimming, and snorkeling. The villa itself has a grand feel while still being very comfortable. It had everything you would need and more. The kitchen was fully equipped and we used the barbecue most of the time. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything. The agents and staff of Agni were very nice and helpful and helped us with everything during the whole process. If youd like to enjoy some peace and quiet with warm sun and beautiful waters, this is the place to go! We are already planning our next trip to Crete and would definitely recommend Villa Almira!

This villa is set in an absolutely beautiful location right to the sea. The location is very quiet and private and you are not overlooked. All the bedrooms, the kitchen/dining room, lounge, and other amenities were just perfect. The villa itself has everything you need for a relaxing getaway holiday. We have visited many different villas in Crete over the past 10 years but the Villa Almira is definitely the best. We have already booked for July and September next year. There are several restaurants, tavernas, and bars nearby (within walking distance). Also, near to other local shops and a bakery for day-to-day supplies and close to Bali and Rethymno. You need only a 15-20 minute drive to Rethymno and to a wide selection of bars, cafes restaurants, and shops. Great holiday at Villa Almira. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

The villa is lovely; its spotless, cozy, and roomy, with everything youll need for a pleasant vacation. The sunset and scenery are breathtaking. The pool is the ideal size for relaxing and tanning in sun. The villa was completely safe and the outside dining area was great for al fresco dining. The Villa was just what we wanted it met all our expectations. It was absolutely brilliant. Very accurate the photos dont do it justice it is an amazing villa and the grounds are beautiful. We couldnt have asked for a higher level of service. From the booking through the end of our vacation, everything went flawlessly. I would highly recommend this property, and I would most certainly return again.

We were stunned by just how handsome Villa Almira actually is, it looked amazing in the photos but it’s even better when you see it on the spot. This villa definitely deserves a 5 stars rating. We actually couldn’t wait until the sun started to set as the moonlight made the villa and pool feel so atmospheric. The villa was perfect for our stay it is very well equipped was spotlessly clean and has all the home comforts (dishwasher, washing machine, good water pressure, no shortage of hot water) which you sometimes miss in self-catering accommodation. Outside a spacious and comfortable terrace with a great maintained garden and also a nice pool area with sunbeds just a few steps from an amazing beach. We will definitely miss the amazing sea views and gorgeous sunsets from the upper terrace where we mostly enjoyed our evening family gatherings. Overall it couldn’t be a better place we had chosen for our vacation. A perfect heaven for a quiet and relaxing family holiday.

Ganz toller Urlaub. In 10 Minuten ist man am nA¤chsten Strand oder auch in der Ortschaft, wo es viele gute Restaurants gibt. Das Haus ist ein Traum, nur im blauen Badezimmer ist das Waschbecken viel zu klein. Sonst alles top

This was the second time of visiting the Almira Villa in Crete and third year with Agni Villas. Always a perfect holiday and never want to come home!

Great villa for a family holiday. This was our first trip to Crete and Villa Almira was perfect for the family. Panormo is the perfect place if you dona€™t want a tourist trap. It has good facilities and great access to the E70, but you feel like you are in a Cretan village which makes a difference. The villa is in a good position. Ita€™s really private even though there is a villa next door. There are no other villas within 30m. We really liked this aspect. You are close to the sea and the town (10 mins slow walk.). Therea€™s a shop within 2 mins for essentials as well. The villa is a really great place to relax. Lots of places to sit, well equipped house with lots of nice touches. Overall this is a great value villa and wea€™re already talking about coming back. One thing to consider is the size of Crete. Rethymno isna€™t too far (30 mins) but some of the major sites are an hour away. And the roads arena€™t what youa€™d normally expect - safe enough but very twisty so ita€™s much slower progress. We visited Rethymno, Knossos and did the Cretan Experience. I recommend all of them. The Kastro restaurant is also amazing. Great service and best food in town.

Beautiful Villa set in an idyllic location. Panormo very relaxed resort within 10 minute walk with plenty of tavernas to choose from, all we sampled were excellent. Great butchers, bakers and supermarket all within walking distance. Met owner once and he was very friendly and helpful. Had a thunder storm which disrupted the Wi-Fi which we were unable to connect to once the storm cleared. Only suggestion was to provide some wine glasses as it would have complimented the bottle of wine which had been provided on arrival.

Perfect experience

Perfect, if it wasnt for the fact that we are ticking off all the Greek islands, we would go back tomorrow ?Y?„ Better than described, the view is breathtaking. The village definitely deserves more of an up sell, it is so quaint and friendly with an array of cafe/bars and restaurants aswell as some beautiful shops and a fantastic well stocked supermarket. Housekeeping came as expected and was left spotless on both occasions, we saw the pool maintenance guy who was also very thorough and friendly.

The instructions to find the Villa from the airport were fantastic and very accurate. The villa is exactly as described and as expected. Its location is perfect with great open sea views. The parking is inside the gate and secure. The garden is large and well maintained with 6 sunbeds barbi table and chairs and the pool. Great place to spend lazy days. Inside the villa is well equipped and very large. We did not need anything other than what was provided. Great to have the coffee machine as well as a kettle the cooking storage and cleaning facilities were just right for the time spent doing these chores on holiday. There was a maid service twice a week in any case. The walk to the ocean is about 2 minutes. The fishing and snorkelling is good at any point along this front. We saw lots of variety of fish during snorkels. The walk into Panormo takes about 10 minutes whichever way you go. There is a huge variety of places to eat and drink and of all the places we visited during our 2 weeks we preferred this village more than any other. Good shops also. I went out running every day and found a different route each time almost some nice walks nearby too. verall very satisfied with the property and the location. Thank you

My party and I had a wonderful time in Panormos - to the extent that we are likely to return to Villa Almira next year probably in September again.

We had a fantastic holiday in the villa and would return. The owners made us very welcome with arrival and departure gifts. It was a wonderful experience all in all. The village of Panormos is excellent with bistros and cafes all seeking to make your stay memorable. Swimming in the nearby cove was an additional treat to the fabulous pool with the villa.

Fabulous location for this lovely villa. Rocky coastline only 2 mins away - perfect for snorkeling. There are also sheltered sandy beaches in Panormo which is quite unspoilt. It has a pretty little harbour with a great choice of restaurants all within walking distance from the villa. Some good day trips possible to Rethymno a Venetian port and various villages in land. Knossos is also easy to get to from here. Overall great villa with sea views good for chilling out and central enough to enable some day trips to local attractions.

Excellent villa, very well equipped and clean. Lovely pool and added bonus of free WiFi. We were very well looked after by cleaning and maintenance staff. Perfect location in walking distance of village with a range of tavernas and shops. Ideally situated for visiting the northern coast of Crete. Village is unspoilt and traditional Greek atmosphere people very friendly. Lovely views to the sea and sheep and lambs nearby. Gentle stroll to beach and harbour.

Lovely setting for the villa.

We really had a very lovely 2 weeks and were lucky with the weather for early April. We had some warm sunny days mixed with just a few rainy ones. The villa was really beautiful and very well-equipped. It is also very well maintained by the housekeeper and the gardener and pool cleaner. The owners were very kind and helpful with any questions that we had. It was a real pleasure staying in Panormos as well. Its a small village but we enjoyed the local Tavernas and the little shops. We wanted to have a relaxing break and it certainly hit the spot. The views from the villa are stunning and waking up to the sea view each morning and having my coffee on the terrace with a great book was just perfect. The people in the village were very hospitable and we even had help one evening with a flat tire from some locals who refused any payment for fixing it in about 15 minutes while we waited. We did make some excursions and went to Vamos Traditional village for cooking lessons (highly recommended) we spent a day near Heraklion to see the ancient ruins and visit the aquarium. We also went to Rethymno a few times to visit the harbor and the Old Town. Everything was pretty easy to find by car and we even drove south on day to Plakias Beach and traveled through the gorge which was beautiful. We also tried scuba diving at the nearby Paradise Diving Center which was fun and made for a great day. We had a nice mix of rest and activity and the time went by way too fast. I highly recommend this villa if you're looking to unwind and de-stress. I think I slept better in those few weeks than in the last several months.

We were very pleased with the villa and its location to the village. A few hints and tips about the local area for beaches and dining would be useful. We would definitely consider using this villa again.
