Nicely furnished villa with an idyllic overview at night brings one back to peace. the villa is complete with the clean pool, bed linen, and kitchenware. People show hospitality to foreigners, good food at local restaurants, and well-equipped shops. Going to Greek definitely includes a visit to the beach and historic locations. Traditions from ancient times are still a part of this Greek island that must be kept well preserved. Thanks to all the people that made our holiday unforgettable.

Last week Oct 2019. Lots shops taverns closing dow This week . Beaches and towns missing the throngs of tourists. Locals friendly. Weather 23-26 c and sea warm enough to swim for an hour without getting cold. We had 6 days sunshine and rain one evening only. Old town of Rethymno lovely. Some great restaurants. We drove a lot over 700 miles to ancient sites , caves and beaches . Rethymno is central north crete and ideal base to explore west or east but not both as time to do both is for some excessive.. The roads inland are tortuous and progress is slow but the scenery makes up for it. Very peaceful spacious Villa. Would definitely come again. Maybe a few weeks earlier in the end of season. Was a very satisfying end of season break . Agni travel very professional and contact almost instant Re any queries. Thankyou Agni travel

Wonderful home! Easily the best place we rented in the 4 spots we stayed (Naxos, Santorini, Crete and Athens). Spacious, clean, relaxing, safe, unique. Ate at 2 local restaurants in the small town, fantastic! Were able to purchase groceries in Rethymno, ate at the villa often, including our at backyard grill space. Divine! Very accurate. Great rental!

After many weeks looking on the internet from villas I luckily came across Beach Villas. There were quite a few villas available for the dates we were looking for but we particularly wanted a large enough villa that had 4 bedrooms all with their own en-suites. We were lucky to find Villa Ilia. We arrived late on Saturday night and the villa looked great. We had a friendly visit from Maria the villa owner the next morning and she was very helpful and welcoming. We asked about the area and she was excellent at suggesting local restaurants and beaches.The villa is large and spacious the views were spectacular of the sea and the city of Rethymnon. After sunbathing by the pool during the day we would then move the BBQ dining area that evening to watch the sunset. Overall an excellent villa and we all thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Wow!!! The views from the property are just amazing. Nothing better than to sit next to the pool and watch the day go by. The villa itself was clean and spacious and plenty big enough for eight. The BBQ was used almost every night even though it was only a quick walk to the taverna. The local supermarket proved very useful, especially for all the BBQ's!!!
